The famous Glenmorangie’s signature expression. This 12 year old single-malt is first matured in bourbon casks for a decade, before being moved over to Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks for a finishing 2 years. The result is a lusciously soft highland scotch, rich and creamy with dark chocolate, dried fruit and fresh honey.
Tasting note
A dash of tart raspberry leads into a generous helping of sherried dried fruit, with orange marmalade, toasted nuts and berry jam. Sweeter notes of brown sugar and cereal notes appear. Finish is silky and long, with oily orange peel, cinnamon and hazelnut praline, rounded off by bitter dark chocolate.
