The 15 year old Highland Park Viking Heart is a balance of warm, spicy notes with sweet vanilla, thanks to Gordon Motion, the Master Whisky Maker, who carefully selected sherry seasoned European and American oak casks. A few refill casks were also added to soften and smooth the flavours, resulting in a 44% ABV bottling that showcases the whisky's vibrant fruitiness and unique heathery peat smoke.
Highland Park 15YO Whisky is stored in a modern, environmentally friendly ceramic decanter inspired by traditional earthenware vessels. Made in collaboration with a UK based company, the lead-free porcelain decanter is 100% food safe and features an embossed lion and serpent design as well as a heart motif.
Tasting note
Rich and complex single malt with warm and spicy aromas of crème brulee, heather honey, and fresh pineapple. Hints of cinnamon, sponge cake, and peat smoke create a flavourful and satisfying experience.
