This expression is built around heritage Golden Promise barley, giving it a soft, malty core and a fresher, fruit-led profile that feels a little lighter on its feet than heavier sherried styles. It is a great pick for whisky drinkers who like orchard fruit, gentle oak and a more refined, easygoing style of single malt.
This single malt whisky is matured in oak casks, with sources describing a mix of French oak and ex-bourbon influence, which helps bring together fresh malt, white fruit and soft vanilla notes in a really balanced way.
