Juan Del Campo Maíz Azul is a whisky that pays tribute to Mexico’s most treasured resource - native Creole corn. Distilled from blue corn, this expression captures the grain’s unique character while highlighting the land and farmers that bring it to life. Each bottle carries the story of its origins, from the type of corn used to the terroir it was grown in.
This is whisky with elegance and depth. Floral, fresh and sweet, it balances the delicacy of blossoms with the richness of caramelised notes and toasted nuts. A bold statement of Mexico’s whisky heritage.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, sweet corn and pinole meet white flowers, jasmine and orange blossom. Fresh hints of mint, cardamom and clove unfold, followed by dulce de leche, burnt butter, vanilla, caramel and roasted nuts on the palate. Smooth and complex with a long finish.
