Crafted in Melbourne, Starward is one of the most exciting and highly-awarded distilleries to come from across the Tasman. Here is their signature Gold medal winning single-malt whisky.
A fruity, double distilled single-malt made with Australian barley and craft brewing yeast for an extra kick of flavour. Aged using lightly charred and steamed barrels, sourced from top Australian wineries that are famed for their Aussie reds. They're often filled fresh when the barrel is still wet with wine. Matured in Melbourne’s wildly varied climate for three years.
Tasting note
Exceptional length thanks to the red wine barrels. Bright aromatic notes of red berries, orchard fruits, vanilla, caramel and soft oak spice.
Smooth and complex when sipped neat. Shines in classic cocktails. Works exceptionally well with food.
