Routin's Dry Vermouth is a beautifully crisp French vermouth that shows just how elegant the dry style can be. Created in Chambéry using the original recipe of Philibert Routin, it blends French white wine with local Jacquère wine and a carefully selected mix of 17 botanicals. Wormwood, juniper berries, rosemary, bitter almond and rose petals all play their part, creating a vermouth that is aromatic, refreshing and perfectly balanced.
The result is clean, dry and full of character. Bright tropical and citrus notes sit over a backbone of fresh herbs and delicate spice, giving it the kind of clarity that works brilliantly in cocktails. It is exactly the sort of vermouth you want in a Martini, but it is just as good served chilled on its own or with soda for a lighter aperitif.
Tasting Notes
Fresh and aromatic with hints of pineapple and tropical fruit on the nose. The palate opens with crisp green apple and herbal botanicals before drying out beautifully, finishing bright, bracing and clean with subtle floral and spice notes.
