Grown in Puglia, Verdeca is a refreshing, dry grape variety that produces crisp, clean, refreshing whites that will perfectly suit fans of NZ sauv who want to try something new. With hints of white flowers, citrus and pear, and a crisp, mineral finish, this delicious white is perfectly matched with fresh seafood and a wedge of lemon. Dive in.
Tasting note
Characterised by a straw-yellow and crystalline colour, at the nose it shows surprising notes of white flowers mixed with citrus and fruity hints, such as pear and pineapple. The flavour is dry, enveloping and full flavoured, with a creamy texture and a fresh, mineral finish.
