What a winner. 30 Mile comes from the Quarisa wines stable (Johnny Q, Shot in the Dark, Caravan etc) and is another great value option from this ever reliable producer.
During his extensive winemaking career, John Quarisa has picked up some of Australia’s top awards including the Jimmy Watson and Stodart trophies and that experience shines through with 30 Mile. This well priced wine is chock full of mouthfilling flavours in the blackberry, liquorice and dark plum spectrum - and it carries Quarisa's signature generosity and velvet smooth palate. Don't take it easy on this one.
Tasting note
Deep intense red with purple hues in the glass with fresh lifted ripe dark berry and spicy fruit aromas with some herb notes balance with some oak. A full bodied palate follows showing fresh lively dark fruits of black currants, herbs and balanced with some subdued spicy integrated oak.
