Archie Rose Bone Dry Gin is an unapologetically juniper-forward Australian gin created as a tribute to the botanical at the very heart of the category. Made at Archie Rose’s Banksmeadow Distillery in Sydney, hand-foraged Macedonian juniper is both cold and hot distilled to create three separate expressions before being brought together with Australian coriander seed, lemon scented gum, finger lime, Tahitian lime, and other carefully sourced botanicals. The result is bold, precise, and intensely aromatic, with a bracingly dry finish that lives up to the name.
This exceptional dry gin delivers an enormous hit of pine and citrus, with fresh lime peel, spearmint, eucalyptus, white grapefruit, and floral notes building around that powerful juniper core. At 44% it has plenty of structure for a serious Martini or Negroni, while still making a brilliant premium G&T. The distinctive Archie Rose presentation, with its crisp white and deep juniper-blue design and tactile debossed label, gives the bottle plenty of shelf presence too.
The awards here are a seriously big deal. Bone Dry Gin earned a Masters Medal at the 2025 Global Gin Masters, the highest accolade the competition can award and a distinction reserved for spirits judged truly outstanding in blind tasting. Then there is the 2024 Platinum Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, an award that cannot be won on a single great showing. Platinum is only awarded after a spirit earns Double Gold for three consecutive years, meaning every judge independently rated Bone Dry Gin Gold in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Add its World's Best Gin recognition to the mix, and Archie Rose Bone Dry has a serious claim to being Australia’s most decorated independent premium gin.
