Whisky Gone A Rye #2 is the sixteenth release in Archie Rose’s celebrated Trials & Exceptions series, and a rare twist on their award-winning Rye Malt Whisky. The result of a happy accident, this limited edition was matured in Australian apera casks originally destined for single malt, then filled with rye not once but three times, creating a spirit of exceptional depth and character.

The rich Australian fortified wine casks add luscious layers of fruit and sweetness to the classic rye profile. Expect aromas of honey-poached peaches, pecan, and toffee apple, followed by flavours of candied figs, crème brûlée, and maple-coated muesli. A long, elegant finish of orchard fruits, baking spice, and gentle oak lingers beautifully. Complex, indulgent, and unmistakably Archie Rose.
