Arette Blanco is a classic, no-nonsense tequila that shows just how good well-made blanco can be. Produced by the Orendain family at the historic El Llano distillery in El Valle, this is 100 percent agave tequila from one of Mexico’s oldest and most respected independent producers. The family has been making tequila since the early 1900s, and Arette remains proudly family owned, a rarity in today’s tequila world.
Launched in 2007, this blanco is bottled straight from distillation, with no oak to mask the agave. It is clean, expressive and ideal for both sipping and mixing, offering real quality at a refreshingly honest price. The larger 1L bottle makes it even better value, especially if you like your margaritas or palomas built on proper tequila.
Tasting Notes
The nose is creamy and fresh, with hints of lemongrass, baked agave and green herbs. On the palate, roasted agave comes through with citrus notes of lemon and lime, followed by soft floral touches and a hint of vanilla. The finish is clean and lightly spiced, slightly short but very drinkable.
