Built in 1898 by John Duff, the BenRiach Speyside Distillery stands out as one of the only distilleries to have its own on-site floor malting and uses water sourced from the nearby Burnside Springs.

Experience Benriach Malting Season Batch 2, made with 100% floor malted barley in their historic Speyside distillery. Aged in bourbon and new charred oak barrels, it offers a hearty, creamy flavor and a beautiful barley gold color.

Benriach is part of a select group of Scottish distilleries that use 100% malted barley for their whiskey. Malting Season 2 follows the success of Malting Season 1 and is made from concerto barley which was specifically chosen by Master Blender Rachel Barrie for its rich and pure cereal taste.

Tasting Notes

Experience the distinctive aromas of barley sugar, almond fudge, and poached orchard apple with smooth, rounded flavors of vanilla and honeyed pear in this expression. The slowly kilned malt adds a lasting nuttiness to the overall taste.
