Briottet's Creme de Abricot is a beautifully expressive apricot liqueur from Maison Briottet in Dijon, a family run producer with a liqueur making heritage dating back to 1836. Made with carefully selected apricots, it captures the bright, juicy character of the fruit while keeping the texture smooth, rich and wonderfully balanced.
This is a liqueur that really shows off the natural flavour of apricot. Sweet and generous on the palate with a gentle almond like bitterness from the fruit stone, it delivers depth without feeling heavy. It is excellent in classic cocktails, brilliant with sparkling wine, and equally good drizzled into desserts when you want a little extra fruit and fragrance.
Maison Briottet remains run by the fifth generation of the family today, continuing a long tradition of crafting refined fruit liqueurs in the heart of Burgundy.
Tasting Notes
Fresh apricot aromas with a bright, fruity nose. The palate is velvety and full bodied with juicy apricot flavour, balanced by a subtle stone fruit bitterness and finishing long, smooth and harmonious.
