Bruichladdich 30 Year Old is a rare and deeply meaningful release, celebrating both the revival of the Victorian distillery and the dedication of the team who laid this spirit down three decades ago. In the early 1990s the future of Bruichladdich was uncertain, but while the distillery and its community rebuilt, this whisky quietly matured on Islay, gathering depth, elegance, and character.
Aged entirely in handpicked ex bourbon casks, this thirty year old is refined, expressive, and beautifully balanced. Bottled at 43 percent, it opens with sweet toasted oak, honey, and soft vanilla, supported by delicate florals and a hint of dark chocolate. A gentle thread of coastal air lingers on the finish, echoing its all Islay maturation. A rare, graceful single malt that captures the soul of the distillery.
