Cardrona Distillery's latest release is their 7 year old expression, an incredibly rare and highly limited New Zealand whisky.
The 'Full Flight' replaces their previous 'Growing Wings' 5 year old expression, and as expected it's only getting better with age.
Bottled at seven years, this decadently rich Full Flight bottling is a combination of Sherry and Bourbon barrels. The spirit was matured in a ex Oloroso Sherry butts, then transferred to an ex Bourbon barrel for a deep delicious finish.

Dark fruits on the nose, and sticky treacle in the mouth that opens beautifully with water.
