Crafted at Clark Lane Distillery in the Waikato, Piko Gin is an incredibly unique, premium gin that is celebrating the flavours of Aotearoa.
Pikopiko Fronds are one of the key botanicals used to create the bold and intriguing flavours of this wonderful gin. The fronds are harvested locally by hand once a year from the native Asplenium Bulbiferum fern (also commonly known as Mother Spleenwort). These fronds are then distilled in small batches along with locally sourced spring water from the Waikato region.
This contemporary styled gin brings on fragrant notes of sweet asparagus, surrounded by a cleverly simple and extraordinarily well balanced botanical base, which altogether leaves a lingering and very unique taste on the palate.
This is an absolute must-try for any kiwi gin fan. Best enjoyed with a fine tonic and a touch of lemon.
