Darroze 12 Year Old from the Grands Assemblages range is a lively, characterful Bas Armagnac that shows exactly why the house is so revered. Aged for over a decade, it opens with notes of liquorice, cinnamon and warm oak, then deepens beautifully after a moment in the glass as the fruit and spice settle into harmony. Full of energy yet wonderfully polished, this is a brilliant introduction to Darroze’s signature style.
Tasting Notes
Liquorice, cinnamon and gentle spice on the nose, opening into richer dried fruit and soft oak with a little time. The palate is vibrant and warming with a supple texture and a long spice led finish.
