Dragonfly Gin is a distinctive New Zealand collaboration between Wellington’s Dragonfly Restaurant & Cocktail Bar and Napier’s National Distillery Co., created to capture the restaurant’s Asian-inspired personality in the glass. Built on a classic juniper-led gin foundation, it brings together hinoki, mandarin, jasmine green tea, and ginger for a profile that feels fresh, aromatic, and genuinely different from the usual dry gin lineup.
This beautifully balanced expression opens with bursts of juicy mandarin before the subtle pine character of Japanese hinoki begins to show through. Delicate jasmine green tea adds a fragrant floral layer, while ginger brings gentle warmth and extra lift through the finish. At 44%, it is elegant enough for a Martini but particularly good in a premium G&T with mandarin, where those citrus, tea, and botanical notes really come alive.

Fresh and complex with juicy mandarin, subtle hinoki pine, delicate jasmine green tea, and gentle ginger warmth, finishing aromatic, balanced, and refreshing.
