Ferrand Dry Curaçao Yuzu Late Harvest is a limited-edition twist on Maison Ferrand’s classic Dry Curaçao, built around late-harvest yuzu grown in Morocco. The fruit is left to ripen longer than usual, developing a fuller, rounder citrus character with surprisingly rich pastry-like notes alongside all that bright yuzu freshness. Combined with Ferrand Cognac and brandy, bitter orange peel, sweet orange, lemon, vanilla, and prune, it delivers a premium citrus liqueur with far more depth and structure than a standard triple sec.
This distinctive late-harvest expression uses both macerated and distilled whole yuzu before the final blend is rested in oak to bring everything together. The result is intensely zesty and juicy, with yuzu and bitter orange leading into creamy vanilla, milk chocolate, almond, and a touch of toffee before a long finish of burnt citrus oils. It is a brilliant way to add extra character to Margaritas, Sidecars, and other classic citrus-led cocktails, while still having enough complexity to enjoy over ice.
Tasting Notes
Bright and intensely citrusy with juicy yuzu, bitter orange, and lemon, followed by creamy vanilla, milk chocolate, almond, and toffee, finishing long with lingering burnt orange oils.
