In 2015, the Four Pillars team combined their Rare Dry Gin with some of Australia’s best Shiraz grapes thus birthing the Bloody Shiraz Gin. Now each year they steep Yarra Valley Shiraz grapes in gin, and after eight weeks the fruit is pressed before blending with more Rare Dry Gin. This is the 2019 vintage, its colour is much richer and more vibrant than previous vintages, carrying really beautiful purples and reds to bottle.
Tasting note
Pine forest, white pepper and spices linger on the nose with tons of delicious plum and blackberry. The gin is beautifully balanced with a delicious sweetness and nice tannins to finish.
