Introducing GlenDronach's first ever peated expression.
This expression was initially matured in bourbon casks before being transferred over to Oloroso and PX Sherry casks, allowing it to maintain the signature GlenDronach sherried characteristics, but with a rich, smoky element at its core.
Tasting note
Kicks off with wafts of juicy fruit and vanilla cream mingle with plumes of charred oak. On the palate you get cinnamon and more wood-smoke, which leads to honey and dried raisin. Lovely peated finish, with golden barley shining through.
