Glenfiddich 14YO Bourbon Barrel Single-Malt Whisky is a rich, bourbon-influenced take on one of Speyside’s most famous single malts. Matured for 14 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in freshly charred new American oak, it brings a sweeter, toastier edge to Glenfiddich’s signature fruit-driven style. Vanilla, caramelised brown sugar, ripe orchard fruit, and oak all come together in a whisky that feels generous, polished, and very easy to settle into.
This excellent 14 year old single malt leans heavily into the richness of American oak, with deep vanilla and baked apple on the nose followed by creamy toffee, candied orange peel, woody spice, and fresh toasted oak across the palate. The bourbon cask influence gives it a warm, slightly sweeter profile than the classic Glenfiddich style, while a long lingering finish keeps everything balanced and composed. It is a great choice for bourbon drinkers crossing into Scotch, or anyone who likes their Speyside whisky with a little more oak, sweetness, and weight.
