This iconic Scottish gin is made using two different stills: the Bennett still steeps its botanicals overnight before distillation, while the Carter Head has its botanicals in a basket up in the still’s neck, where they are gently steamed. Botanicals here include juniper, cubeb berries, elderflower, chamomile, angelica, lemon peel, orange peel, coriander, yarrow and orris. This all alongside Hendrick’s famous infusion of cucumber and rose petal. If you make a G&T with this, be sure to garnish with cucumber.
Astoundingly fresh notes of cucumber with juniper, oak, a touch more citrus and vanilla. Creamy and savoury, with a long, refreshing, floral finish.
You can never go wrong with a Hendricks
I’ve tried so many gins. Too many. Yet I always come back to this one - a beautifully balanced, easy-drinking gin that’s delicious with soda water and a slice of cucumber.
Top shelf gin this one!
A great tasting gin best ***** with a plain tonic and a couple of slices of cucumber! Refreshing and crisp!
Very nice & smooth gin.
