Meet the older and more sophisticated sibling to one of New Zealand's most recognised gins, Lighthouse Mt Difficulty Barrel Aged Gin.
Expertly crafted by Head Distiller Rachel Hall using the same signature botanicals as the original Lighthouse Gin, as well as the same pristine spring water filtered by the Remutaka Ranges. Once distilled this gin is then aged in retired Mt Difficulty ex Pinot Noir barrels for a truly exceptional taste, resulting in a harmonious blend of Central Otago and premium Martinborough gin.
Tasting note
This gin is light, floral, and citrus-forward, complemented by subtle hints of Central Otago thyme and red berries—capturing the essence of Otago’s landscape. Head Distiller Rachel Hall recommends sipping neat or topping with tonic and a slice of navel orange.
