Mars Iwai Japanese Whisky 750ml

Crafted high in the Japanese Alps, Mars Iwai is a smooth and elegant blend that captures the harmony of Japanese whisky-making. Founded in 1949, Mars Shinshu began distilling in 1985, taking full advantage of the region’s pure mountain water and cool climate.

Composed mostly of corn with a touch of malted barley, Iwai is aged in ex-bourbon barrels for a mellow, golden spirit with notes of sweet pear, dark cacao, and floral honey. Hints of allspice and dried fig add warmth and depth, while its soft, silky body makes it effortlessly enjoyable neat or over ice.

Tasting Notes

Light, floral aromas with sweet pear, cacao, and spice. Smooth palate of fig, vanilla, and oak with a gentle, lingering finish.
