National Distillery Limoncello is a bright, handcrafted New Zealand take on the classic Italian citrus liqueur, made in Napier with locally sourced Hawke’s Bay lemons. The fruit is hand-peeled to capture as much fresh citrus character as possible, giving the finished liqueur a vibrant burst of lemon zest and aromatic brightness. At 32% ABV, it has a little more weight than many softer limoncello styles, while still keeping that refreshing, easy-drinking character front and centre.
This fresh citrus liqueur opens with plenty of tangy lemon before mellowing into a smooth, rounded mouthfeel that keeps the acidity beautifully balanced. Enjoy it well chilled or over ice as an aperitif or digestif, add a splash to sparkling wine, or use it to bring a bright citrus lift to cocktails. Simple, vibrant, and packed with genuine Hawke’s Bay lemon character.
