Paul Chamblain Brut NV (6x750ml)
Elegantly structured, crisp and dry, Paul Chamblain is the perfect everyday bubbles and we're backing it all the way. Previously known as Palais de Versailles Brut, this is exactly the same wine but with a new name and a new label, same delicious fizz inside!
Everyone needs well priced bubbles on hand and this delicious French fizz looks the part and drinks well above our asking price. Blended from regional varietals in Beaune, the base wine undergoes extended ageing on lees producing a well balanced sparkling wine with lovely mouthfeel and good persistence. A remarkable buy.
Tasting note
Creamy palate offering cut apple and nashi flavours, mid palate richness revitalised by crisp lemon acidity, followed by a clean and complex, lingering fruit filled finish.
Cameron Douglas MS: "A plush, ripe and fruity bouquet with aromas of pears and apple with moments of white peach. Crisp and just dry on the palate, a fruit centris wine with a soft mousse and plenty of acidity. Fruit flavours mirror the bouquet with a light lees quality."
