This delicious age statement release is a new addition to the renowned Plantation range from the house of Maison Ferrand, combining a blend of the finest Barbados rums that are then aged for 5 years in bourbon casks before being finished in used French oak.
This is a trans-Atlantic affair, with the initial maturation taking place in the Caribbean before the secondary maturation in the southwest of France at Château de Bonbonnet, the headquarters of Maison Ferrand.
Tasting note
The Barbados-style nose of this rum boasts a succulent profile, showcasing pleasant notes of toasted coconut, fudge, and oaky vanilla. Whether consumed neat, over ice, or in mixed drinks, this versatile spirit is sure to please.
