Limited to just 1,000 individually numbered bottles, this is a whisky made as much for collectors and curious whisky drinkers as it is for anyone wanting to taste the future of New Zealand single malt.
This ultra-limited release single malt is shaped by New Zealand’s West Coast and matured in ex-bourbon casks, giving it a bright, precise style with plenty of lift and early complexity. Expect a fresher, more vibrant profile than a heavily oak-driven older whisky, with notes of vanilla custard, tropical fruit, fresh cut hay and soft malt sweetness all showing through. It is a fascinating first chapter for the Moonlight Creek range, and a very compelling bottle for anyone keen to get in early on a distillery with serious ambition.
