Roots Light Marlborough Spirit comes from Elemental Distillers in Marlborough, the team behind the much-loved Roots range, including their flagship Roots Marlborough Dry Gin and the Rosso Pinot Noir Gin. This lighter expression keeps the same proper botanical feel the distillery is known for, just dialled into a lower-alcohol, lower-calorie serve that still tastes like the real deal. It is a smart pick for anyone who wants classic gin character without going full strength.
Made using the distillery’s double vacuum distillation process, Roots Light Marlborough Spirit concentrates botanical flavour into both alcohol and water while keeping everything bright and fresh. The result is a juniper-forward Marlborough spirit with layers of spiced orange and a soft pine finish, giving you that crisp, familiar gin experience in a more sessionable format. At just 23 calories per 30ml serve, it is an easy one to reach for when you want something lighter that still feels properly crafted.
