Take a holiday to the bustling, otherworldly metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City with Saigon Baigur, the first premium dry gin to be distilled in Vietnam's capital city. An exquisite gin featuring 16 botanicals in total, including both the locally grown fresh citrus buddha's hand and vapour infused lotus flower, this is a distinctively Vietnamese take on a classic dry gin.
The custom glass shape is inspired by a dragon egg, and the gin inside takes inspiration from the bright and colourful flavours of their Country's world-renowned cuisine. Just like their food, it turns out Vietnamese gin is just as irresistible.
Ignoring the breath-taking packaging, the gin inside nails every aspect of a great premium gin. It's wonderfully smooth for it's full 43% ABV, with complex layers that slowly unravel their 16 botanical recipe. Dangerously refreshing with a citrus forward palate, coming mostly from the buddha's hand citrus - which is bright, fragrant and sweet - then balanced out marvellously with an extensive array of spices and floral notes.
This is a super exciting and adventurous gin, that dances across your taste buds as new flavours light up with every sip. Delightful to sip neat and opens up massively when mixed - heaps of fun to be had here!
Spoil yourself and then keep the empty for a vase! Let's be real, you'd pay 80 bucks for the bottle alone.
