Awarded Gold at the 2021 World Spirit Competition - Sheep Dip is a small batch, handcrafted, premium blended malt Scotch whisky. It marries together 16 single-malt whiskies from around Scotland, ranging between 8 to 21 years of age, in an enigmatically refined blend that packs plenty of punch.
Inspired by a long history of entrepreneurial Scottish farmers taking distillation into their own hands, this rich and fruity blended malt whisky pays homage to an era where these illicit spirits traded hands across Scotland, via farmers merchants from the Islands to Speyside. Where quality and community came before the excise man, and where a barrel of “Sheep Dip” held liquid-gold for those select few who knew where to look.
Tasting note
Finesse and elegance gives way to a majestic assertion of pure malty flavours drawn from the four distilling regions of Scotland. Each area forges and makes its own inimitable contribution to this outstanding pure malt - the main accent being expressed from the Highlands and Speyside Valleys.
