This Gold Medal winning expression is both complex and elegant, a fantastic addition to Waiheke Whisky's Dyad range of wine finished drams.
Expertly double distilled in copper pot stills using a half tonne mash of premium NZ peated malt. The resulting liquid was then matured in American oak for 4 years before being finished for an additional year in a Waiheke Island Vintage 'Port wine' Barrel.

Tasting note
Aromas of dark berry fruits, dried dates, orange peel, vanilla and peat smoke. The palate is rich and mouth filling with red fruits, caramel and smoke with a sweet subtle oak finish.
