The maturation process of Fettercairn 16 Year Old Single Malt Whisky showcases the distillery's unique tropical character derived from its copper cooling ring distillation. This 2022 release expertly blends Sherry-matured and Sherry-finished spirits from hand-picked 1st and 2nd fill Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez, and ex-Bourbon casks to perfectly accentuate the tropical house style.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, you will notice the scent of dried exotic fruits, lightly syruped figs, grapefruit, and mature oak. The palate offers flavors of sunkissed raisins, ripe guava, patisserie spices, and cocoa, heightened by a crescendo of natural vanilla. The finish brings together moist ginger cake, passion fruit, baked apple, and gentle notes of roasted coffee.
