Arran Distillery launched their Signature Series in 2023, starting with the limited release of Edition 1: Remnant Renegade. Distillery manager Stewart Bowman hand-picked a diverse selection of high-quality expressions for the series, distilled and aged at Lochranza. This exceptional whisky is a blend of remnant casks, including sherry hogsheads, butts, and bourbon barrels ranging from the mid-90s to 2017. Bottled at 46% ABV, each expression in the Signature Series is non-chill filtered and has no added colouring, showcasing the brand's commitment to excellence and authenticity.
Tasting note
Experience a complex blend of aromas such as orange peel, cinnamon, vanilla, and thyme honey, accompanied by orchard fruit and hints of toffee apples, citrus, and star anise. On the palate, discover flavours of digestive biscuits and nutty malt, leading to a finish of nutmeg and honeyed nuts.
