This is a seriously good whisky. Heaps of depth and weight on the palate with complex flavours the Maderia fortified wine complements the robust Linkwood whisky. The new wood used in the second maturation enhances the overall picture. A whisky made for the connoisseur.
My favourite Firkin! - this is an easy drinking light dram ideal for sharing with a few mates and over a few yarns. Unpretentious it slides down real easy - but watch the 49.5% abv! Chewy and creamy on the palate with a good full mouth feel. Just too easy!
Stunning whisky! I got hints of the sea - salty, sea spray and seaweed. Nice touch of peat without overblowing the whisky and a rich finish possibly from the PX sherry used in the second maturation. Sort of close to Talisker in flavour
Love this Warners rhubarb gin. I suffered withdrawal symptoms for a few days as my order didn’t come to my door. Not your problem due to my apartment managers laziness. It finally arrived thank goodness.
